Football United

Founding Partnership Story

Football United creates chances for youth through the magic of football. We build the capacity of young people in diverse communities in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, and have achieved positive outcomes for thousands of people since 2006. Head over to footballunited.org.au for more.

In 2013 Football United, as part of UNSW, established a life-skills in football program for schools that we named Creating Chances. In 2014 we partnered with Rugby Youth Foundation to bring Creating Chances to life as a social enterprise, reach more young people and sustain the impact and growth that we were experiencing. 

For 10 years Football Untied and Creating Chances together delivered impactful football programs through a partnership model, increasing our growth across Asia-Pacific, joining and leading Football for Good programs and events around the world, and continuing our growth and deep impact with long-term schools and community partnerships in Australia. 

In 2024, Football United now becomes fully part of Creating Chances, as we drive towards inclusion and football for all.
