Creating Chances is proud to collaborate with Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) to bridge the gap between professional sports and meaningful community impact. This partnership is anchored in a shared vision to use the “world game” as a vehicle for youth empowerment and leadership development.

A major highlight of this collaboration is the upcoming launch of the PFA-funded program, “From the Pitch to the Community – Play, Lead, Inspire,” set to begin in Term 1 2026. This 20-week initiative is specifically designed to empower young women through a dedicated curriculum focused on football, coaching, and leadership. By providing a safe and inclusive space, the program encourages participants to build the confidence necessary to take on leadership roles both on and off the field.
One of the most inspiring aspects of the PFA partnership is the opportunity for students to interact directly with professional athletes who serve as tangible role models. For instance, students at Miller Technology High School recently experienced an “awesome” session featuring Jarrod Carluccio from the Western Sydney Wanderers. These visits allow young people to hear firsthand about the dedication required to succeed at the highest level while receiving elite-level coaching and encouragement.

The partnership goes beyond a single term; it is about creating long-term professional opportunities. The PFA-funded initiatives provide clear pathways for players to volunteer or join the Creating Chances staff, enabling them to deliver programs and give back to the communities that support them. This alignment between professional players and grassroots delivery ensures that our programs remain grounded in authentic football culture while fostering social harmony and inclusion.

Moments like this remind you what passion, discipline, and true professionalism look like. Unreal experience and proud to be part of it.
