George Manos loved football and the community he became part of. He was everything a good footballer should be – talented, humble, supportive and encouraging.

The inaugural George Manos Cup is partnering with Creating Chances a non-for-profit organisation empowering youth through sport, education and opportunities. Held at Heffron Park this January 25, from 9am to 2pm, friends and lovers of football alike, will come together to play in the George Manos Cup, a tournament designed to honour George’s 19 years on this earth and his love for football.

This day will ensure George will remain a part of the football community while raising funds to help inspire, develop and empower young people from under-represented communities make a lasting impact on society.

Creating Chances is an Australian non-profit and for-purpose social enterprise empowering young people through sport-based life skills and leadership programs.

Our mission is straightforward: to inspire, develop, and empower young people to make a lasting impact on society. We prioritise inclusion for children and young people from under-represented communities, many of whom face barriers to play the sports they love.
