1. What does the day-to-day culture look like at Creating Chances?
We are a purpose-led team that works closely with schools, communities and young people. Some days are collaborative planning days, others are spent out in schools or at programs. The work is practical, people-focused and grounded in care. Our culture is built on “radical empathy” – we support each other just as much as we support our youth. Expect a mix of collaborative office days, field work at schools, and working from home.
2. Do you offer remote or flexible working arrangements?
Flexible working arrangements may be available depending on the role and program requirements. Creating Chances supports collaborative and people-focused ways of working that help staff balance community engagement, wellbeing, and professional responsibilities.
3. What are the opportunities for professional development and promotion?
We don’t just develop youth; we develop our people. Every employee has access to development opportunities, including clear development competency frameworks, Annual Reviews, peer mentoring and we welcome internal promotions. We connect with our team through regular social and training days, including Legends Connect (3 times per year), and an Annual Kick-off event.
