We are proud to announce a transformative new partnership with One Playground. This collaboration is set to become a cornerstone of Creating Chances’ 2026 fundraising efforts, with a shared vision of delivering life-changing programs to over 2,000 young people across New South Wales.
This partnership is designed to bridge the gap between physical wellness and future career readiness, providing young people in our programs with the resources, mentorship, and pathways necessary to succeed.
Together, Creating Chances and One Playground are committed to raising $70,000 in 2026. These vital funds will directly support the delivery of Future Pathways programs across NSW, equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to navigate their transition into adulthood.
One Playground is demonstrating its commitment to youth empowerment through:
Empowering Leadership: One Playground will provide 12-month fitness memberships to selected youth leaders and their guardians, fostering physical well-being and strengthening family support networks.
Career Pathways: Two Year 12 students will be awarded places in One Playground’s prestigious Certificate III and IV fitness courses, commencing July 2026. This vocational training will be bolstered by one-on-one personal training mentorship to ensure students are set up for professional success.
Fundraising Support: One Playground has committed significant resources, including high-value membership raffle donations for future fundraising events and active participation in their marquee October community fundraiser.
Ongoing Mentorship: One Playground staff will actively volunteer within Creating Chances programs, providing hands-on mentorship and support to students.
To celebrate, the organisations hosted a special Partnership Launch Event at the One Playground Merrylands facility. This immersive 3-hour event featured interactive workshops, guided class experiences, and a special scholarship announcement, giving students from Hoxton Park High School a firsthand look at the opportunities that await them.
